Creston Extra Board Agreement
Please read this agreement, we are having problems with people bidding off of the extra board without fullfilling their obligation per the agreement of working a trip.
When you are short called while on held away, make sure to document it well and put a code 73 in for the lost held away due to the short call.
Rule 64 of Conductor's Schedule
(a)In case a call is cancelled before a conductor leaves his home or way car between the hours of 8am and 10 pm, no compensation will be allowed
Between 10pm and 8am a 2 hour penalty is due!!!!
Rule 33 of Engineer's Schedule
Called and not wanted
(a)In case an engineer is called and afterward notified he is not wanted, a minimum of 2 hours time will be allowed, and he will not lose his turn out.
(b)In case a call is cancelled before an engineer leaves his home or place of lodging between the hours of 8am and 9pm, no compensation will be allowed.
Between 9pm and 8am a 2 hour penalty is due!
Time limits on claims
You have 60 days to submit a time claims after it has occurred.
The carrier has 60 days to either pay of declined the time claim.
If declined we have 60 days to conference the claim.
If there is still a disputer with the claim it will be sent to the General Chairman's office where they have 180 days to conference it with Labor Relations.
